TAG MedStaffing is hiring a Clinical Outreach RN in Penobscot County, ME for our client, supporting referral development, patient transition coordination, and clinical relationship management within a growing home infusion environment. This role will work closely with hospitals, managed care teams, physicians, discharge planners, and healthcare providers to identify patients, coordinate care plans, and facilitate smooth transitions from acute care settings to home-based infusion services. The ideal candidate is a Registered Nurse with strong clinical knowledge, relationship-building skills, and an interest in business development or healthcare sales.

Responsibilities as the Clinical Outreach RN:

Referral Development: Build and maintain relationships with hospitals, managed care organizations, physicians, discharge planners, and healthcare providers to generate patient referrals.
Care Coordination: Collaborate with clinical teams, providers, and patients to coordinate care plans and support smooth transitions from hospital to home infusion services.
Clinical Education: Educate healthcare professionals, patients, and caregivers on infusion services, treatment options, and patient eligibility requirements.
Business Development: Support territory growth initiatives, relationship management activities, and ongoing referral development efforts within assigned healthcare networks.
Patient Advocacy: Serve as a clinical resource and patient advocate throughout the intake, transition, and care coordination process.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with pharmacy, nursing, reimbursement, intake, and operational teams to ensure timely and effective patient service delivery.

Qualifications for the Clinical Outreach RN:

Education: High school diploma or equivalent is required, while an Associateâs or Bachelorâs degree in Nursing is preferred.
Licensure: Current and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license is required.
Experience: 2+ years of infusion nursing, infusion healthcare, home infusion, hospital nursing, or related clinical experience is required.
Industry Knowledge: Experience working with managed care teams, discharge planning, care coordination, or infusion services is preferred.
Technical Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, electronic medical records, and healthcare documentation systems is preferred.
Skills & Attributes: Strong communication skills, relationship-building abilities, clinical judgment, organizational skills, professionalism, and an interest in healthcare sales and business development are required.

Group Facilitation: Lead evidence-based group therapy sessions using CBT, DBT, ACT, and related modalities.
Collaborative Care: Coordinate treatment plans with interdisciplinary teams including clinicians and external providers.
Clinical Documentation: Maintain timely and accurate progress notes, treatment plans, and EHR documentation in compliance with HIPAA.
Patient Engagement: Cultivate a safe, trauma-informed therapeutic environment that promotes participation and skill-building.
Crisis Intervention: Provide support in crisis situations, including risk assessment and conflict resolution during group sessions.

Qualifications for the Part-Time Group Therapist:

Education: Masterâs degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field; actively pursuing state licensure preferred.
Experience: At least 1 year in PHP, IOP, inpatient, or similar settings, with proven experience leading therapeutic groups and managing crises.
Technical Skills: Comfortable using electronic health record (EHR) systems and digital platforms such as Zoom and Slack.
Skills & Attributes: Culturally competent, skilled in rapport-building, and committed to serving diverse, high-acuity populations including Medicaid clients.

Diagnostic Imaging: Perform routine and emergency radiographic exams in ED, inpatient, and trauma settings using digital imaging systems.
Patient Care & Positioning: Ensure accurate patient identification, positioning, comfort, and safety throughout each procedure.
Image Review & Submission: Confirm image quality, accuracy, and proper labeling before submitting studies to PACS.
Collaboration & Workflow: Coordinate with clinical teams to manage high-volume imaging needs efficiently and professionally.
Compliance & Equipment: Adhere to ALARA and safety protocols, and maintain imaging equipment per regulatory and hospital standards.

Qualifications for the Radiologic Technologist:

Education: Completion of a Vocational or Technical training program in Medical Radiography is required.
Licensure: Must hold a Massachusetts Radiologic Technologist license in Radiography.
Certification: ARRT registered with active BLS (AHA) certification required.
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in a hospital or trauma setting performing diagnostic radiography, preferably in high-volume ED or inpatient environments.
Technical Skills: Proficient in digital radiographic systems, PACS platforms, and EMR documentation with the ability to navigate imaging workflows efficiently.
Skills & Attributes: Strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to adapt quickly in high-pressure, multidisciplinary environments.

Imaging & Equipment Use: Operate Siemens Biograph mCT 64 and Medrad Intego injector for high-quality PET/CT imaging and radiopharmaceutical delivery.
Radiopharmaceutical Prep: Handle, administer, and document FDG, Posluma, Amyvid, Dotatate, and related agents following USP <825> and radiation safety standards.
Patient Care & Screening: Assess patients for contraindications, explain procedures, and provide supportive care throughout imaging.
Workflow & Documentation: Perform venipuncture, glucometer checks, enter charges, and verify DICOM image transfer to MIM and PACS systems.
Facility & Compliance Support: Clean rooms, restock supplies, and ensure equipment and spaces meet cleanliness and regulatory guidelines.

Qualifications for the Nuclear Medicine Technologist:

Education: Completion of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program is required.
Licensure: Must hold or be eligible for a Massachusetts Radiologic Technologist license (RT) and must have national certification.
Certification: ARRT (N) or CNMT certification is required, along with BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA).
Experience: 1+ years of experience in a clinical or academic medical center, with hands-on PET/CT experience strongly preferred.
Technical Skills: Proficient in venipuncture, operation of PET/CT systems, radiopharmaceutical handling, EMR entry, and PACS workflows.
Skills & Attributes: Safety-focused, organized, and detail-oriented professional with strong communication skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Patient Assessment: Evaluate cardiopulmonary status, perform diagnostic tests, and monitor vital signs to guide respiratory care.
Ventilator & Airway Management: Set up, manage, and adjust mechanical ventilation and artificial airways per clinical protocols.
Therapeutic Procedures: Administer oxygen therapy, bronchodilators, aerosol treatments, chest physiotherapy, and suctioning.
Emergency Care: Respond to code blue and rapid response events, providing airway support and life-saving interventions.
Clinical Documentation: Record treatments and patient responses in EMRs; collaborate with medical staff for coordinated care.
Protocol & Equipment Oversight: Adhere to clinical standards and maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot respiratory equipment.

Qualifications for the Registered Respiratory Therapist:

Education: High school diploma or GED required.
Licensure: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required (must hold a current Massachusetts license).
Certification: CPR (AHA) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required (ACLS and PALS preferred).
Experience: 2+ years of experience in an acute care setting, with demonstrated ability to manage ventilators, perform airway interventions, and respond to emergency situations.
Technical Skills: Proficient with mechanical ventilation systems, oxygen delivery devices, aerosol therapy, and electronic charting systems (e.g., Epic).
