Job Overview – Wound Care Nurse (RN or LPN):
Provide specialized care as a Wound Care Nurse (RN or LPN) with our client in Aberdeen, SD. In this full-time role, you’ll deliver evidence-based wound care, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and support patients in achieving optimal health outcomes.
Compensation: $35 - $38/hour
Location: Aberdeen, SD
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Responsibilities as the Wound Care Nurse:
Patient Care: Deliver nursing care guided by evidence-based practices, nursing theory, and scientific principles.
Physician Orders: Accurately implement physician directives within required time frames.
Condition Monitoring: Identify and respond promptly to changes in patient conditions to ensure positive outcomes.
Care Prioritization: Prioritize nursing actions based on patient needs, acuity levels, and desired outcomes.
Team Collaboration: Work with multidisciplinary healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care.
Qualifications for the Wound Care Nurse:
Licensure: Active RN or LPN Nursing license required.
Certification: CPR certification from the American Heart Association required.
Experience: Experience with wound care patients preferred (hospital, nursing home, or clinic settings); outpatient wound care experience is a plus.
Skills: Knowledge of billing and coding is preferred.
