Job Overview – Urologist Compensation: $400,000–$500,000/year Location: Hudson County, NJ Schedule: Monday to Friday (In-Office)
TAG MedStaffing is hiring a Urologist in Hudson County, NJ for our client, supporting comprehensive inpatient, outpatient, and surgical urology services across a healthcare network. This role will diagnose and treat a broad range of adult urologic conditions while performing surgical procedures and coordinating care with multidisciplinary medical teams. The ideal candidate is a board-certified or board-eligible Urologist with strong clinical and surgical expertise and experience managing diverse patient populations.
Responsibilities as the Urologist:
Urologic Care: Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with a broad range of acute and chronic adult urologic conditions.
Surgical Procedures: Perform inpatient, outpatient, and office-based urologic procedures using conventional and minimally invasive surgical techniques.
Patient Management: Develop individualized treatment plans and oversee appropriate follow-up care throughout the patient journey.
On-Call Coverage: Participate in shared call coverage for urgent urologic consultations, inpatient needs, and surgical interventions.
Clinical Collaboration: Partner with physicians, specialists, and surgical teams to coordinate multidisciplinary patient care.
Quality & Documentation: Maintain accurate EHR documentation and support established clinical quality, safety, and professional standards.
Qualifications for the Urologist:
Education: Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school is required, along with completion of an accredited Urology residency program.
Licensure: Active or eligible New Jersey medical licensure is required.
Certification: Board certification or board eligibility in Urology is required.
Experience: Clinical and surgical experience providing comprehensive adult urologic care is required.
Industry Knowledge: Strong knowledge of urologic diagnosis, treatment, surgical care, and inpatient and outpatient clinical practices is required.
Technical Skills: Experience with minimally invasive and laparoscopic procedures is required, with robotic-assisted surgical experience preferred.
Skills & Attributes: Strong clinical judgment, surgical expertise, communication, collaboration, organization, and patient care skills are required.
