Role Overview:
A behavioral health organization is seeking an experienced Child & Family Therapist for a 6-month assignment providing care within their youth residential treatment program. Leveraging trauma-informed expertise, the ideal candidate will lead individual and group therapy, partner with care teams, and help clients heal.
Compensation: $28.00 - $35.00 / HR
Location: Montgomery County, Pennsylvania
Schedule: Tuesday - Friday from 10 am – 8 pm
Responsibilities:
• Conducting individual and family therapy
• Consulting with multidisciplinary treatment teams
• Developing customized treatment plans
• Documenting timely clinical notes
• Educating staff on therapeutic frameworks
• Responding to crisis situations
• Testifying in court proceedings
• Coordinating care with community providers
Qualifications:
• Master’s degree in social work or counseling
• 2+ years’ experience with seriously emotionally disturbed youth
• Knowledge of trauma-focused modalities
• Strong clinical assessment and intervention skills
• Collaborative team player
• Certification in TF-CBT, CBT preferred
