Role Overview:
Our client is seeking a Program Director to oversee the planning, development, and implementation of their community residence program. The Program Director will set program goals based on strategic objectives, manage all aspects of program operations, and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
Compensation: $91,900.08 - $96,900.08
Location: New York City
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 9 am – 5 pm
Responsibilities:
• Supervise program staff and provide guidance on case management
• Develop and implement individualized client service plans
• Coordinate annual client assessments and utilization reviews
• Maintain relationships with service agencies for client placement and activities
• Manage client intake, orientation, and discharge planning
• Prepare reports for leadership on program status, issues, and proposals
• Conduct staff supervision meetings and side-by-side contacts
• Liaise with HRA and community partners on cooperative agreements
• Oversee client goals of recovery, rehabilitation, independence and integration
• Coordinate HIV/AIDS services and identify gaps in care continuum
• Design and implement comprehensive program evaluation
• Complete employee performance reviews and address deficiencies
• Assist VP of Programs with special projects, research and reporting
• Ensure compliance with DOHMH, OMH, HASA, and COCC standards
Qualifications:
• Master's degree in Social Work, Public Health, Health Administration or a related field
• 3-5 years of administrative and supervisory experience in scatter site housing programs
• OR Bachelor's degree with 5-7 years of relevant experience
• 5+ years providing direct services to individuals with HIV/AIDS, substance abuse, SMI
• Extensive knowledge of HIV/AIDS guidelines and HRA/MHRA/HPD regulations
• Ability to provide emergency intervention to clients in crisis
• Strong program development, implementation and research skills
• Excellent planning, organizational and staff management abilities
• Effective communication, listening and interpersonal skills
• Community-minded, patient, creative and culturally sensitive approach
• Bilingual Spanish and HIV/AIDS advanced training preferred
