Role Overview:
Our client, a leading provider serving youth with emotional disabilities, is seeking an experienced School Social Worker to support vulnerable students by providing counseling, care coordination, and tailored interventions based on present needs. The ideal candidate will consult across multidisciplinary teams, conduct evaluations, engage closely with families, and leverage their passion for compassionate behavioral health to guide personalized growth plans.
Compensation: $76,000.00 Location: Westchester County, New York Schedule: Monday - Friday from 9 am to 5 pm
Responsibilities:
• Observing in classrooms and across clinical settings
• Reviewing clinical backgrounds and psychosocial history
• Providing individual counseling and parent training
• Partnering with teachers on treatment goals
• Linking students and families to community resources
• Responding collaboratively to crises or changes
• Maintaining timely progress notes and care plans
Qualifications:
• Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW)
• Licensed in New York State
• Background serving those with developmental disabilities
• Strong assessment and care planning skills
• Collaborative, patient-first approach
