Job Overview - Rheumatologist (Hybrid):
Our healthcare client is seeking a Rheumatologist to oversee clinical care, manage infusion services, and collaborate with specialists for high-quality outcomes. This hybrid role involves clinical oversight and direct patient care, focusing on immune, musculoskeletal, and endocrine disorders.
Location: Collier County, FL
Compensation: $280,000 - $300,000/year
Schedule: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday (Hybrid)
Responsibilities as the Rheumatologist:
Care Management: Oversee and manage patient infusion care, including clinical review and medication recommendations.
Collaborative Care: Work with primary care and specialists to develop and manage patient infusion plans.
Rheumatology Practice: Provide comprehensive rheumatological care, overseeing the practices of clinical support staff.
Clinical Oversight: Direct and coordinate patient care with the prior authorization specialist and ensure timely service delivery.
Qualifications for the Rheumatologist:
Licensure: State of Florida Medical License, Board Certification (Board eligible considered).
Experience: 3-5 years as a practicing provider with an unrestricted medical license and clinical experience.
Certifications: CPR and AED certification per AHA guidelines.
Technical Skills: Proficiency with Athena One, Athena Practice, Epic, WeInfuse.
