Job Overview - Social Worker:
We are seeking a Social Worker to work at our New York location. This role involves conducting psychiatric assessments, developing treatment plans, and providing supportive services using evidence-based practices.
Location: New York, NY
Compensation: $37/hour
Schedule: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday
Responsibilities as the Social Worker:
Conduct psychiatric and substance abuse assessments.
Develop and implement treatment plans.
Provide individual and group counseling.
Facilitate psycho-education groups on relapse prevention and health literacy.
Provide case management services.
Assist clients in achieving housing stability and self-care skills.
Manage discharge planning and support clients post-discharge.
Maintain client documentation and prepare reports.
Participate in quality improvement and program evaluation activities.
Qualifications for the Social Worker:
New York State Licensed Masters in Social Work (LMSW) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) required.
2 years of experience with homeless populations.
2 years of experience with chronic health, mental health, or substance abuse disorders.
Bilingual in Spanish preferred.
Strong interpersonal skills and proficiency with office software.
