Job Overview - Residential Aide:
We are seeking compassionate and vigilant Residential Aides to support clients in the Bronx, NY. The Residential Aides are crucial in maintaining client safety and facility operations, offering support and monitoring activities within the facility.
Location: Bronx, NY Schedules: Sunday -Thursday, candidates can choose between 12am - 8am; 9am - 5pm; or 4pm - 12am. Compensation: $18 - $19/hr
Responsibilities as the Residential Aide:
Ensure client safety and monitor facility entrances and surveillance systems.
Perform regular facility rounds.
Document all entries and exits.
Oversee the food distribution process.
Manage resident admissions and move-outs.
Maintain accurate records and file paperwork.
Provide professional interaction with visitors and callers.
Generate and submit incident reports and nightly rosters.
Maintain a clean lobby and building exterior.
Assist with fire drills and emergency evacuations.
Distribute mail to staff and clients.
Perform partial intake assessments.
Qualifications for the Residential Aide:
Computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Suite.
Strong writing and communication skills.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Bilingual in Spanish is strongly preferred.
1 to 2 years of experience in a social services agency, preferably with direct client services.
