Job Overview – Rehabilitation Manager (MLTC):
Take on a pivotal role as a Rehabilitation Manager with our client in Queens, NY. In this position, you will guide rehabilitation services for MLTC, MAP, and ESNP programs. Your responsibilities will include coordinating with interdisciplinary teams, performing field visits, and ensuring adherence to New York State Department of Health (DOH) standards to enhance member care and independence.
Compensation: $100,000 - $114,000/year
Location: Queens, NYÂ
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Responsibilities as the Rehabilitation Manager (MLTC):
Clinical Oversight: Review clinical rehabilitation documentation from external providers to ensure services meet members’ needs.
Equipment Management: Evaluate and approve requests for Durable Medical Equipment (DME) in the home, ensuring appropriateness and member safety.
Education and Training: Provide on-site education to nurse managers and VPs about rehabilitation’s role in member care.
Field Assessments: Conduct field visits to assess high-end DME needs and perform home safety evaluations.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to health rules and regulations set by the New York State DOH.
Qualifications for the Rehabilitation Manager (MLTC):
Education: Master’s degree in healthcare or a related field required.
Licensure: Active New York State Occupational Therapist license required.
Experience:Â A minimum of 2-4 years as an Occupational Therapist, with prior experience in clinical management or supervisory roles.
Skills: Strong computer proficiency, organizational abilities, and interpersonal skills, with the capacity to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
Attributes: Detail-oriented, collaborative, and committed to delivering high-quality rehabilitation services.
Requirements:Â Must be available for home visits as needed and willing to cover the Bronx, Westchester, and Manhattan regions.
