Job Overview - Registered Nurse:
Join our client’s growing healthcare team in their Bronx office as a dedicated Registered Nurse. In this full-time, evenings role, you will provide nursing care during preventive care services to ill, injured, convalescent, or disabled patients.
Location: Bronx, NY
Compensation: $55/hour
Schedule: 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM, Monday to Friday
Responsibilities as the Registered Nurse:
Patient Monitoring and Care: Observe, record, and report resident data according to policy and procedure. Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment.
Documentation: Ensure that appropriate documentation concerning unauthorized discharges is entered in the resident’s medical record in accordance with established procedures.
Team Coordination: Assist in the day-to-day activities performed by the Licensed Practical Nurses and Certified Nurse’s Aides. Assign tasks and responsibilities within the framework of their scope of practice and provide care directions.
Qualifications for the Registered Nurse:
Licensure: Must possess a current NYS RN license and registration.
Education: Must have graduated from an approved RN program.
Experience: Experience in a hospital or long-term care setting.
Certifications: BLS certified.
Skills: Strong customer service, organizational, communication, and writing skills essential. Must be competent with Microsoft Office and electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
