Job Overview: Registered Nurse: Director of Educational Services
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Director of Educational Services to lead the design, planning, and implementation of corporate and departmental training programs. This in-person role involves engaging with internal and external community activities and requires a highly motivated individual to enhance staff performance and development.
Location: Bronx, NY
Compensation: $145,000 - $155,000/year
Schedule: 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM, Monday to Friday
Responsibilities as the Director of Educational Services:
Assess and address company-wide training needs.
Oversee education programs and staff development.
Conduct New Hire Orientation and continuing training.
Develop training strategies with senior leadership.
Evaluate educators and training effectiveness.
Create training materials for new and existing staff.
Support staff orientation and ongoing education.
Participate in quality improvement activities and community engagements.
Develop traditional classroom and e-learning programs.
Facilitate training sessions and collaborate on projects.
Qualifications for the Director of Educational Services:
5+ years as a high-level training manager.
3+ years managing personnel.
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or Education required; Master’s preferred.
Knowledge of home care, PACE, or healthcare programs.
Experience designing and assessing training programs.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
UAS Assessment knowledge preferred.
Experience in long-term or managed care settings.
Proficiency with Windows, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
