Job Overview - Registered Nurse - Bronx:
We're seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse who is passionate about providing comprehensive services to individuals with developmental disabilities. This role requires a candidate with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and the ability to coordinate health care services effectively.
Location: Bronx, NY Compensation: $57 - $63/hr Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9 AM - 4:30 PM with a flexible schedule.
Responsibilities as the Registered Nurse - Bronx:
Serve as a member of the interdisciplinary team.
Arrange and follow-up on medical services for persons served.
Conduct staff training in various health-related areas.
Manage communicable diseases and infections.
Participate in team meetings and individual case reviews.
Maintain medical documentation and administer medications.
Supervise and train junior nurses and LPNs.
Provide first aid and emergency care.
Manage a nursing office and order supplies.
Visit individuals at home as required.
Qualifications for the Registered Nurse - Bronx:
Must hold a BSN degree.
Preferred possession of a valid New York State Driver’s License.
Licensed as a Registered Nurse in New York State with CPR certification.
Proficient in English with excellent communication skills.
Organizational skills and effective interaction with coworkers and clients.
