Job Overview - Registered Nurse (ICU):
Join our growing team in the Bronx, as an Registered Nurse specializing in ICU care. Provide exceptional care to critically ill patients, managing complex conditions and medication drips, while collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Location: Bronx, NY
Compensation: $65/hour
Schedule: 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, (Flexible, Minimum of 34.5 Hours Guaranteed-No Overtime)
Responsibilities of the Registered Nurse (ICU):
Provide comprehensive care to ICU patients, managing trauma cases and multiple medication drips.
Perform assessments using CAM, CPOT, and RASS.
Manage patients with EVD, hypothermia treatment, and pleurevac chest tube drainage.
Utilize Hemosphere Flotrac for patient monitoring.
Follow strict isolation precautions and critical care practices.
Document patient care using Allscript EMR and operate PCA pumps.
Qualifications for the Registered Nurse (ICU):
BSN or higher degree from an accredited nursing school.
RN License to practice in New York State or by reciprocity.
Minimum 3 years of ICU experience preferred.
Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS (required); CCRN and TNCC (preferred).
Proficiency in managing patients with complex conditions and using critical care equipment.
Strong adherence to SOP and critical care practices.
