Role Overview:
A behavioral health services leader is seeking a weekend Psychiatric Nurse (RN) to provide integrated care to adults with serious mental illness in Philadelphia. Working across community settings approximately 75% of the time, the ideal candidate will coordinate whole-person interventions, administer medications, provide counseling, respond collaboratively in crises, and guide individuals toward stability and improved wellness.
Compensation: $53.00 / HR Location: Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania Schedule: Friday - Sunday shift from 8:30 am - 4:30 pm
Responsibilities:
• Assessing healthcare needs and developing care plans
• Delivering injectable psychotropic medications
• Monitoring psychiatric treatment response
• Maintaining timely and accurate health records
• Building trusted therapeutic relationships
• Sensitively addressing behaviors and crises
• Consulting closely with the ACT team
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing; active PA RN license
• 2+ years of psychiatric nursing experience
• Strong communication, assessment, and documentation skills
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Commitment to recovery-focused community care
