Job Overview – Registered Nurse (Wound Care):

Compensation: $30 - $35/hour
Location: Hastings, NE
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Responsibilities as the Registered Nurse (Wound Care):
Patient Care: Provide evidence-based care to patients with wound care needs, ensuring interventions align with nursing theory and scientific principles.
Condition Management: Monitor and recognize changes in patients’ conditions, intervening promptly and effectively.
Care Prioritization: Reflect patient needs and acuity when prioritizing nursing actions and desired outcomes.
Physician Orders: Implement physician orders with accuracy and timeliness to achieve optimal care delivery.
Education: Educate and counsel patients and families on wound care management, addressing their concerns and providing resources for ongoing care.
Qualifications for the Registered Nurse (Wound Care):
Education: Associate's degree in Nursing required (BSN preferred).
Certifications: Valid CPR certification from the American Heart Association required.
Experience:Â A minimum of 1-2 years in wound care, managing both acute and chronic wounds, with required experience in billing and coding for wound care services.
Skills: Strong clinical assessment skills, attention to detail, and the ability to educate and engage with patients and families effectively.
