Job Overview – Registered Nurse (Residential Program):
Compensation: $57 – $63/hour
Location: Bronx, NY
Schedule: Monday to Friday (Full-Time)


Take on a key role as a Registered Nurse (Residential Program) in Bronx, NY, with our client, where you’ll provide nursing care, coordinate medical services, and ensure compliance with state regulations. In this position, you will administer medications, oversee infection control, train staff, and maintain medical records while promoting quality patient care in a residential setting.

Responsibilities as the Registered Nurse (Residential Program):
  • Healthcare Coordination: Manage medical services and referrals, monitor ongoing health concerns, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Direct Nursing Care: Deliver first aid, administer medications, supervise safe storage/distribution, and respond to emergencies.
  • Staff Training & Oversight: Train staff on infection control, first aid, hygiene, and illness recognition while supervising LPNs and less experienced RNs.
  • Infection Prevention: Identify and manage communicable diseases, implement protective measures, and reinforce prevention protocols across programs.
  • Collaboration & Documentation: Participate in interdisciplinary meetings, complete case reviews, and maintain accurate medical documentation and staff health records.
Qualifications for the Registered Nurse (Residential Program):
  • Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.
  • Licensure: Current license and registration as a Registered Nurse in the State of New York required.
  • Certification: CPR certification required.
  • Experience: 2+ years of nursing experience, preferably in residential, community health, or long-term care settings.
  • Technical Skills: Knowledge of medical documentation systems, infection control procedures, and use of adaptive equipment and mobility devices.
  • Skills & Attributes: Strong organizational and communication skills, ability to maintain confidentiality, and effective interpersonal skills for collaboration with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Other Requirements: Valid New York State Driver’s License preferred; willingness to work across multiple program sites as needed.
