Job Overview – Registered Nurse (RN) Juvenile Residential Center:
Compensation: $52/hour
Location: East Brunswick, NJ
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM


Make a meaningful impact with our client as a Registered Nurse (RN) at a Juvenile Residential Center in East Brunswick, NJ. This day shift opportunity is ideal for an RN with experience in acute care, critical care, or correctional healthcare, providing medical assessments, medication administration, and crisis intervention. You’ll collaborate with clinical teams to ensure youth receive safe, compassionate, and high-quality care in a structured residential environment.

Responsibilities as the Registered Nurse (RN):
  • Comprehensive Patient Evaluations: Perform intake screenings, routine health assessments, and emergency evaluations.
  • Medication Administration & Treatment Management: Dispense medications, oversee therapeutic treatments, and ensure adherence to medical protocols.
  • Urgent & Emergency Care: Respond to acute and chronic health conditions, providing immediate medical intervention.
  • Infection Prevention & Regulatory Compliance: Maintain strict adherence to infection control protocols, medication storage guidelines, and healthcare regulations.
  • Patient Education & Care Coordination: Provide health education, support discharge planning, and ensure continuity of care.
Qualifications for the Registered Nurse (RN):
  • Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
  • Licensure: Active, unrestricted RN license in New Jersey.
  • Experience: At least 1 year of RN experience in acute or critical care required (juvenile or correctional healthcare experience preferred).
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in patient assessments, crisis management, and infection control procedures.
  • Skills & Attributes: Strong critical thinking, independent decision-making, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Certification: Active Basic Life Support (BLS) or Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification.
