Job Overview – Registered Nurse (RN):
Step into a vital role with our client as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Poughkeepsie, NY, delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced clinical setting. Compensation: $53/hour
Location: Poughkeepsie, NY
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Responsibilities as the Registered Nurse (RN):
Patient Care & Assessment: Perform patient evaluations, administer medications, and monitor treatment responses.
Clinical Support: Assist physicians with procedures, provide wound care, and ensure adherence to treatment protocols.
Patient Education: Educate patients and families on post-treatment care, medications, and wellness strategies.
Documentation & Compliance: Maintain accurate patient records, ensure HIPAA compliance, and follow infection control procedures.
Collaboration & Teamwork: Coordinate with healthcare providers, medical assistants, and support staff to enhance patient outcomes.
Qualifications for the Registered Nurse (RN):
Licensure: Active RN license in New York State (NYS) with current registration and good standing.
Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.S.N.) required.
Certification: Current BLS certification required.
Experience: Minimum of 1 year as an RN or 2 years as an LPN in a relevant clinical setting.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems and medical equipment used in clinical settings.
Attributes: Strong clinical judgment, excellent communication skills, and the ability to provide compassionate patient care in a fast-paced environment.
