Job Overview – Registered Nurse (RN):
Join our client's healthcare team as a Registered Nurse (RN) in New York, NY. This role involves conducting health assessments, managing medication, and providing support to clients with mental health needs. You'll collaborate with the program team and make referrals to community resources, emphasizing client empowerment and recovery.
Compensation: $55/hour Location: New York, NY
Schedule: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Tuesday to Saturday
Responsibilities as the Registered Nurse (RN):
Health Assessments: Conduct comprehensive mental and physical health assessments for clients.
Medication Management: Administer and manage medication in consultation with physicians.
Care Planning: Develop and implement individualized care plans for clients.
Collaboration: Coordinate with healthcare providers and community resources.
Support & Education: Provide support, counseling, and education to clients and their families.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with nursing and mental health regulations.
Qualifications for the Registered Nurse (RN):
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
Experience: Experience working with individuals with chronic mental illness and substance abuse.
Knowledge: Strong understanding of nursing principles and medication management.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
