Job Overview – Registered Nurse (RN):
Join our healthcare client’s ENT department as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Bedford, NY. This temporary role is ideal for a skilled nursing professional looking to provide high-quality patient care, support physicians during procedures, and ensure smooth clinic operations. You will play a key role in patient assessments, treatment coordination, and clinical documentation, contributing to an efficient and compassionate healthcare environment.
Compensation: $53/hour
Location: Bedford, NY
Schedule: Tuesday to Thursday, 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM
Responsibilities as the Registered Nurse (RN):
Patient Care & Assessment: Conduct initial patient assessments, monitor vital signs, and assist with treatment planning.
Clinical Support: Assist physicians with ENT procedures, administer medications, and provide post-procedure care.
Coordination & Education: Educate patients on treatment plans, post-care instructions, and preventive care practices.
Documentation & Compliance: Maintain accurate patient records, ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, and follow infection control protocols.
Collaboration & Teamwork: Work closely with physicians, medical assistants, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care.
Qualifications for the Registered Nurse (RN):
Licensure: Active RN license in New York State (NYS) with current registration and good standing.
Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.S.N.) required.
Certification: Current BLS certification required.
Experience: Minimum of 1 year as an RN or 2 years as an LPN in a relevant clinical setting.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems and medical equipment used in ENT procedures.
Attributes: Strong clinical judgment, excellent communication skills, and the ability to provide compassionate patient care in a fast-paced environment.
