Job Overview – Registered Nurse (RN) Evening Shift:

This opportunity is perfect for an experienced RN with expertise in acute or critical care, managing direct patient treatment, crisis intervention, and medication administration. Work alongside a multidisciplinary healthcare team, ensure strict compliance with medical protocols, and foster a safe, structured environment that prioritizes patient well-being and rehabilitation.
Patient Assessment: Conduct intake screenings, health assessments, and emergency evaluations.
Medication & Treatment: Administer medications, manage treatments, and ensure protocol compliance.
Emergency Care: Provide urgent care for chronic conditions and medical emergencies.
Infection Control & Compliance: Follow medication storage, infection prevention, and regulatory standards.
Patient Education & Discharge Planning: Educate patients on health management and coordinate follow-up care.
Team Collaboration & Documentation: Work with medical teams and maintain accurate patient records.
Qualifications for the Registered Nurse (RN):
Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
Licensure: Active, unrestricted RN license in New Jersey.
Certification: Active Basic Life Support (BLS) or Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification.
Experience: Minimum 1 year of RN experience, with a background in acute care or critical care (correctional healthcare experience preferred).
Technical Skills: Proficiency in patient assessment, crisis management, and infection control procedures.
Skills & Attributes: Strong critical thinking, independent decision-making, and interpersonal communication skills.
