Job Overview – Registered Nurse (Outpatient Clinic):
Advance your nursing career as a Registered Nurse (Outpatient Clinic) in Jersey City, NJ. In this fast-paced clinic setting, you’ll collaborate with physicians and a multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient care, educate patients and families, and support clinic operations with professionalism and compassion.
Compensation: $52 - $55/hour
Location: Jersey City, NJ
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM, and Saturdays, 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Responsibilities as the Registered Nurse (Outpatient Clinic):
Patient Care: Deliver safe, compassionate nursing care, conducting assessments, administering treatments, and addressing diverse healthcare needs.
Medical Support: Assist physicians during exams, provide patient education on treatments, and ensure patient understanding of medical instructions.
Leadership: Supervise and delegate tasks to LPNs, MAs, and care coordinators while maintaining clinical competency and quality standards.
Education: Provide patient education on procedures, treatments, diagnostic tests, and post-care, empowering patients through continuous support.
Triage & Workflow Management: Manage patient triage, respond to problem calls, and coordinate efficient patient flow to minimize wait times.
Compliance & Inventory: Oversee infection control practices, manage clinic inventory, and maintain compliance with laboratory and VFC standards.
Qualifications for the Registered Nurse (Outpatient Clinic):
Education: BSN preferred.
Licensure: Valid RN license required.
Skills: Strong communication and organizational abilities, proficiency in assessing and responding to patient needs, and the capacity to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Technical Proficiency: Experience with eClinicalWorks (ECW) or other EMR systems preferred.
Attributes: Compassionate, detail-oriented, and capable of building strong patient relationships.
