Job Overview - Registered Nurse (Medical/Surgical):
Join our client's team in Geneva, NY, as a dedicated Medical/Surgical Registered Nurse, providing comprehensive care that meets the physical, emotional, and educational needs of patients. Your role will encompass patient assessment, collaborative care planning, and delivering high-quality, compassionate care.
Compensation: $62/hour
Location: Geneva, NY
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM or 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM
Responsibilities as the Registered Nurse (Medical/Surgical):
Patient Care: Conduct comprehensive assessments, develop individualized care plans, and adjust based on patient needs and responses.
Collaborative Care: Work with patients, families, physicians, and healthcare teams to set goals and ensure optimal care outcomes.
Documentation: Administer medications, perform nursing interventions, and accurately document patient progress and responses.
Safety: Comply with infection prevention protocols, safety standards, and monitor the environment for potential risks.
Collaboration: Foster a supportive team environment, delegating tasks as appropriate, and promoting a patient-centered, healing-focused culture.
Qualifications for the Registered Nurse (Medical/Surgical):
Licensure: Current NYS Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
Certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required.
Experience: 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse in a Medical/Surgical setting is required.
Skills: Strong clinical, communication, and problem-solving abilities, with the capability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
