Job Overview - Registered Nurse (Labor and Delivery):
We're seeking a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse for our client in Bronx, NY. In this day shift role, you'll provide comprehensive care, assess clinical conditions, develop care plans, and respond to emergencies, ensuring high-quality outcomes for patients across the lifespan.
Compensation: $71/hour
Location: Bronx, NY
Schedule: 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM (Day Shift)
Responsibilities as the Registered Nurse (Labor and Delivery):
Patient Assessment: Assess patients' clinical conditions, prioritize care, and take immediate action in serious situations.
Diagnosis: Formulate nursing diagnoses and develop individualized care plans for patients, including discharge planning.
Equipment Operation: Operate and monitor specialized emergency care equipment, such as infusion pumps, ventilators, and cardiac monitors.
Therapeutic Measures: Administer medications, IV therapy, and other therapeutic measures as prescribed by the physician.
Patient Education: Provide and document patient and family education on preventative, curative, and rehabilitative measures.
Qualifications for the Registered Nurse (Labor and Delivery):
Experience: 3+ years of experience, preferably in Post Partum care.
Licensure: Must have a current NY RN License.
Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP required.
Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills.
