Role Overview:
A local Brooklyn hospital center is seeking a registered nurse to provide compassionate wound care for podiatry patients. With a flexible weekday schedule, the ideal candidate will leverage evidence-based interventions to heal foot and lower limb issues through assessment, treatment, patient education and follow-up evaluations.
Compensation: $48.00 – $52.00 / HR Location: Brooklyn, New York Schedule: Monday - Friday from 8 am to 4 pm
Responsibilities:
• Conducting lower extremity exams and risk assessments
• Implementing physician-ordered treatment plans
• Educating patients on proper foot care and exercises
• Prioritizing nursing tasks based on patient needs
• Monitoring wounds and recommending next steps
• Documenting clear and timely notes
• Collaborating with podiatry team members
Qualifications:
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree
• Active NY state RN license
• Strong communication and assessment skills
• Passion for helping patients heal
