Position Overview:
Our client, a women's health clinic in the Bronx, is seeking a registered nurse to provide compassionate, culturally competent care. The roles will involve assessments, procedures, coordination, documentation, education, emergency response, and helping ensure smooth patient flow.
Compensation: $50.00 - $55.00 / HR
Location: Bronx, New York
Schedule: 4, 10-hour shifts (plus alternating Saturdays)
Responsibilities:
• Perform patient triage, intake, and prep
• Organize daily unit huddles
• Follow all infection control protocols
• Obtain vital signs and specimens
• Document care thoroughly in medical records
• Administer immunizations and medications
• Conduct health teachings and reinforce education
• Secure prescription, referral, and insurance approvals
• Participate extensively in quality initiatives
• Maintain equipment and supplies
• Provide excellent and compassionate communication
Qualifications:
• Graduate degree in Nursing
• 2+ years of nursing experience required
• Time management and organizational skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
• Strong written and oral communication abilities
• Commitment to professional development
• NY RN license and current BLS certification
