Role Overview:
A behavioral health services organization is seeking a Psychiatric Nurse (RN) to join an Assertive Community Treatment team caring for adults with serious mental illness in Philadelphia. Working autonomously across community settings, the ideal candidate will coordinate whole-person care, administer medications, provide counseling, respond collaboratively in crises, and leverage your passion for behavioral health to guide individuals toward stability and improved wellness.
Compensation: $53.00 / HR Location: Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania Schedule: Monday - Friday from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm
Responsibilities:
• Conducting assessments and developing integrated care plans
• Delivering injectable psychotropic medications
• Monitoring psychiatric treatment response
• Accompanying members to health appointments
• Maintaining timely and accurate clinical records
• Educating members on health topics
• Building trusting relationships with compassion
• Partnering closely with multi-disciplinary ACT team
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing; active PA RN license
• 3+ years of psychiatric nursing experience
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Strong communication and documentation skills
• Passion for community-based care
• Belief in recovery-focused models
