Position Overview:
Our client, an outpatient clinic in the Bronx, is seeking a Registered Nurse to care for diverse populations across locations. The ideal candidate will perform screenings, coordinate referrals, provide counseling, assist with procedures, document encounters, and promote positive outcomes through culturally competent, compassionate interventions.
Compensation: $50.00 - $55.00 / HR
Location: Bronx, New York
Schedule: Monday - Friday, varying hours (one late night / week)
Responsibilities:
• Conducting patient intake assessments
• Administering vaccines, injections and medications
• Explaining test results and self-care topics
• Preparing rooms and materials between patients
• Assisting providers with exams and treatments
• Entering accurate encounter notes into EHR
Qualifications:
• Active NY state Registered Nurse license
• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing
• 2+ years of nursing experience required
• Ambulatory care skills, including phlebotomy
• Exceptional customer service and communication talents
