Job Overview:
Join our client's team in Philadelphia as an Executive Nurse Manager overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Nursing/Health Services Department.
Compensation: $125,000.00 Location: Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania Schedule: Monday - Friday
Responsibilities:
Define and maintain nursing practice standards
Assess care quality and ensure continuity for each client
Develop policies and procedures for nursing services
Manage staff performance, recruitment, retention, and development
Collaborate with departments to enhance patient care and staff development
Supervise nursing staffing levels, incorporating grids and flex-staffing techniques
Oversee pharmacy and laboratory services
Monitor department budget guidelines, managing expenditures
Provide direct nursing services, including document completion and medication administration
Demonstrate leadership in staff management, recruitment, selection, and disciplinary actions
Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science in Nursing from an accredited school
Master’s degree in psychiatric or mental health nursing preferred
Current RN license and CPR certification
5+ years of nursing experience, with 3-5 years in behavioral health or psychiatric nursing
3+ years of progressive managerial experience.
Experience in Substance Use Disorder (SUDS) nursing management preferred
Ability to work Monday through Friday from 8 am to 5 pm with occasional on-call responsibilities
