Role Overview:
The Registered Nurse will shoulder a range of responsibilities within the healthcare facility, including patient admissions to the Center, providing crucial assistance in the procedure room, and vigilant monitoring of patients during the post-procedure recovery phase. Additionally, the nurse will be entrusted with the meticulous organization and maintenance of instruments and inventory.
Compensation: $55.00 - $66.00 / HR Location: Manhattan, New York Schedule: Monday to Friday 6 am to 4:30 pm (including 30 min lunch) and 2 Saturdays/month

Responsibilities
Admitting patients and verifying their identity and procedure details
Conducting pre-procedure assessments and checking vital signs
Inserting IV catheters and offering emotional support to patients
Demonstrating procedure knowledge when instructing patients
Documenting and communicating patient concerns effectively
Accurate documentation of procedures and medications during the procedure room role
Administering medications through various routes and monitoring patients
Providing emotional support to patients during procedures
Ensuring safety measures are in place and maintaining equipment
Accurately documenting specimens and following emergency protocols when necessary
Assisting with injections and similar procedures
Qualifications
BS or equivalent college degree and current state RN license
4 years of solid experience in either Endo, Surgery/Ambulatory, or prior experience in an admitting, procedure, or recovery role in an ambulatory setting, preferably in a GI setting
ACLS certified
If BLS certified, willing to become ACLS certified within the centers' preferred time period
Strong organizational and analytical skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
