Job Overview:
Join our client's team as an Employee Health Coordinator at a distinguished long-term care organization in Bronx, New York. In this role, you will oversee and conduct employee health assessments, manage COVID-19 testing data, administer vaccinations, and maintain accurate health records.
Compensation: $75,000.00 - $78,000.00 Location: Bronx, New York Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9 am - 5 pm
Responsibilities:
Conduct employee health assessments, including examinations, medical history reviews, and immunizations
Manage and record COVID-19 testing results
Administer vaccinations (influenza, COVID-19, pneumococcal, MMR, Hep B) as needed
Review employee health examination records for completeness and accuracy
Obtain additional history when appropriate
Assess employee immunization status and provide follow-up as needed
Maintain accurate medical records for all employees
Utilize basic computer skills for tasks such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and EMR
Ability to read and interpret documents and speak effectively before groups or customers
Basic mathematical skills to compute rates, ratios, and percentages
Qualifications:
NY licensed Registered Nurse with 3 years of experience
Experience in Occupational Health is a plus
Effective communication skills and ability to speak before groups
Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and EMR
