Job Overview - Registered Nurse, Women's Health:
Join our client’s compassionate team in New York, NY, as a dedicated Registered Nurse specializing in Women's Health. In this role, you will provide essential nursing care during preventive services to ill, injured, convalescent, or disabled patients.
Location: New York, NY
Compensation: $50/hour
Schedule: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday (Rotating weekends)
Responsibilities as the Registered Nurse, Women's Health:
Patient Care: Monitor, record, and report symptoms and changes in patients' conditions. Evaluate and monitor all aspects of patient care, including diet and physical activity.
Consultation and Coordination: Consult and coordinate with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
Inventory and Health Services Management: Monitor and order inventory of medications and immunizations.
Assessment and Documentation: Assess the needs of individuals, families, and/or communities to identify potential health or safety problems.
Education, Advocacy, and Community Health: Educate individuals, families, and other groups on health conditions, disease prevention, and proper medication use.
Infection Control: Comply with infection control programs, advising personnel on necessary precautions.
Qualifications for the Registered Nurse, Women's Health:
Licensure: Current New York State Registered Nursing License (BS preferred).
Experience: Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience.
Specialty: Must have experience in Women’s Health, OB, and/or pre and postpartum care.
Certifications: Infection Control Certification (required), BLS Certification, CPR Certification.
Language Skills: Bilingual in Spanish preferred.
