Job Overview - Registered Nurse, Med-Surg (Nights):
Our client is looking for a skilled Registered Nurse to join the Med-Surg unit in Bronx, NY. In this night shift role, you’ll provide comprehensive care, including emergency interventions, therapeutic treatments, and patient education, as an integral part of their healthcare team.
Compensation: $55/hour
Location: Bronx, NY
Schedule: 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, Night Shifts
Responsibilities as the Registered Nurse, Med-Surg (Nights):
Patient Care: Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient interviews, health records, and identified needs.
Emergency Response: Initiate resuscitative measures and other emergency interventions as needed.
Therapeutic Administration: Administer medications, IV therapy, and other prescribed treatments.
Patient Education: Provide comprehensive teaching to patients and families, addressing their learning needs and readiness.
Documentation: Record nursing interventions, patient status, and care coordination activities.
Qualifications for the Registered Nurse, Med-Surg (Nights):
Experience: Minimum of 1 year in a Nursing role.
Certification: BLS certification required.
Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills (must have EPIC experience).
