Job Overview - Registered Dietitian:
Join our client in Bronx, NY, as a Registered Dietitian providing comprehensive nutrition care to a diverse group of participants. You will assess nutritional needs, develop care plans, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to promote the health and well-being of participants.
Compensation: $40/hour
Location: Bronx, NY
Schedule: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday
Responsibilities as the Registered Dietitian:
Nutrition Assessment: Conduct initial and ongoing assessments to evaluate participants' nutritional status.
Care Plan Development: Create individualized nutrition care plans, monitor progress, and revise as needed.
Team Collaboration: Work with the interdisciplinary team to ensure the integration of nutritional care into the overall plan.
Participant Education: Provide counseling and education to participants and caregivers on nutrition and dietary changes.
Documentation: Maintain accurate records of care provided and updates to participants' nutritional plans.
Home Visits: Travel to participant homes and care facilities as needed for assessments and care.
Qualifications for the Registered Dietitian:
Experience: 1+ year of Clinical Nutrition experience (experience with elderly or frail populations preferred).
Licensing: Registered Dietitian (RDN) with a New York State Certified Dietitian Nutritionist (CDN) license.
Skills: Adaptability, problem-solving, strong communication, and ability to work with various software programs.
