Job Overview – Regional Medical Director:
Take on a pivotal leadership role with our client as a Regional Medical Director in Brooklyn, NY. Reporting to the Chief Medical Officer, you will oversee the professional, organizational, and administrative aspects of providing exceptional medical care at Day Treatment Centers. This position is key in advancing population health, driving quality improvement, and ensuring a patient-centric approach to healthcare delivery.

Compensation: $300,000 - $320,000/year
Location: Brooklyn, NY
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM


Responsibilities as the Regional Medical Director:
  • Clinical Leadership: Oversee interdisciplinary care teams and direct medical services at assigned Diagnostic and Treatment Centers (DTC).
  • Program Development: Standardize processes to enhance efficiency and scalability across ambulatory medical services.
  • Team Management: Supervise provider recruiting, onboarding, performance appraisals, and call schedules while collaborating with site directors and care teams.
  • Quality Assurance: Lead QAPI programs, peer reviews, and evidence-based practice implementation to align with patient needs.
  • Policy and Compliance: Develop and enforce patient care policies to meet professional and regulatory standards.
  • Population Health: Leverage data analytics to drive targeted interventions and improve care outcomes for specific patient segments.
Qualifications for the Regional Medical Director:
  • Education: Graduate of an accredited school of medicine.
  • Certification: Board Certification in Internal Medicine or Family Practice with a specialization in Geriatrics required.
  • Experience: Residency in Internal Medicine or Family Practice, with 3+ years managing providers and teams, plus experience in value-based care and elderly populations.
  • Licensure: Active and unrestricted medical license in New York State required.
  • Skills: Expertise in population health, utilization management, and clinical models, with strong leadership, analytical abilities, and a compassionate, mission-driven approach.
