Role Overview:
Join our client’s medical center as an Interventional Radiologist. In this role, you will provide high-quality interventional radiology services and support general diagnostic readings across all modalities.
Compensation: Based on Experience (BOE)
Location: St. Lucie County, Florida
Schedule:
• Shifts: Monday to Sunday, 7 AM - 5 PM or 8 AM - 4 PM (depending on site)
• Call: Yes, night call (5 PM - 7 AM, 4 PM - 8 AM, etc.)
• Weekends: Yes, onsite and call (depending on site needs)
• Minimum # of Shifts: 7 per month
• Privileges: 90-120 days (no temp privileges)
• Length of Assignment: Ongoing
Responsibilities:
• Being proficient in all areas of interventional radiology, including thoracentesis, paracentesis, abscess drainages, and lumbar punctures
• Supporting general diagnostic readings and demonstrating proficiency across all modalities, including plain film, fluoroscopy, nuclear medicine, MRI, CT, and ultrasound
• Managing a modality split of 30-40% IR and 60-70% DX
• Reading DX studies between IR cases for all 3 sites in the market from the worklist
• Taking IR call for other locations (including trauma calls)
Qualifications:
• Active Florida medical license
• Board Certification in Interventional Radiology
• Fellowship training in Interventional Radiology
• Active DEA registration
• Availability for a clinical interview
• Curriculum Vitae (CV) with all dates in MM/YY to MM/YY format and any gaps over 30 days explained
• All licenses, board certifications, and other certifications with expiration dates listed on CV
• Clean malpractice history (NPDB report required if any history)
• Supporting documents for any legal issues
