Radiologist - Diagnostic/Interventional

Role Overview:
Join client’s hospital as a Radiologist. In this role, you will provide high-quality diagnostic and interventional radiology services, with a focus on interventional procedures and reading diagnostic studies in between IR cases. You will also work alongside a talented team of healthcare professionals and contribute to the delivery of exceptional patient care.

Compensation: Based on Experience (BOE)
Location: Seminole County, Florida

Schedule:
•    Shifts: Monday-Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM
•    Weekends: Yes, 12 PM - 6 PM
•    Call: Yes, IR call every 6 weeks, DX call 1 week a month evenings every 4 weeks
•    Minimum # of Shifts per Month: 7
•    Length of Assignment: ongoing
•    Setting: Inpatient 

Responsibilities: 
•    Being proficient in venous access, DVT and PE intervention, dialysis access management, interventional oncology (including multimodality ablation), urologic procedures, and basic image-guided procedures (biopsies and drainages)
•    Reading 70-80 diagnostic studies in between IR cases; IR clinicians are expected to read 6-10 RVUs/Hr plus IR procedures
•    Attending trauma and tumor board meetings on a monthly basis as needed
•    Managing approximately 30-40% IR workload, with the remainder of the day contributing to diagnostic workload shared amongst all radiologists in the market
•    Working with a modality split of CR 48%, CT 34%, SP .7%, CTA 1.2%, MG .9%, MR 3.5%, NM 1%, and US 10%
•    Managing a diagnostic volume of 6,500/month, IR volume of 50-80/month, and mammography volume of 80/month
•    Utilizing the Meditech electronic medical record (EMR) system

Qualifications:
•    Active Florida medical license (must have at time of presentation)
•    Active DEA registration for all onsite work
•    Board Certification in Radiology
•    Fellowship training in Interventional Radiology
•    Clean malpractice history and background for temporary privileges
•    Curriculum Vitae (CV) with all dates in MM/YY to MM/YY format and any gaps over 30 days explained
•    All licenses and certifications with expiration dates listed on CV
