Role Overview:
Join our client as a Radiologist. In this role, you will provide high-quality diagnostic and interventional radiology services, reading a decent volume of ER work and performing various procedures. Work alongside a talented team of healthcare professionals and contribute to the delivery of exceptional patient care.
Compensation: Based on Experience (BOE)
Location: Hillsborough County, Florida
Schedule:
• Shifts: Monday-Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM
• Weekends: Yes
• Call: No
• Minimum # of Shifts per Month: 5
• Length of Assignment: ongoing
Responsibilities:
• Reading a decent volume of ER work
• Performing required procedures, including embolization, paracentesis, biopsies, thoracentesis, abscess drainages, diagnostic lumbar puncture, and chest tubes/drainage
• Working with support staff, including technologists and radiologist assistants
• Managing a daily diagnostic volume of 50+ studies
• Performing 7-10 interventional procedures daily
• Utilizing the Epic electronic medical record (EMR) system
Qualifications:
• Active Florida medical license (must have at time of presentation)
• Active DEA registration for all onsite work
• Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Radiology
• Clean malpractice history and background for temporary privileges
• Curriculum Vitae (CV) with all dates in MM/YY to MM/YY format and any gaps over 30 days explained
• All licenses and certifications with expiration dates listed on CV
