Job Overview - RN: Acute Care Community Psychiatric Specialist
Our client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Registered Nurse: Acute Care Community Psychiatric Specialist to join their team in Philadelphia, PA. The role involves providing psychiatric and physical health assessments, managing medication in conjunction with the psychiatrist, and delivering a range of treatment, rehabilitation, and support services to individuals with severe mental health conditions.
Location: Philadelphia, PA
Compensation: $52/hour
Schedule: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday
Responsibilities as the RN: Acute Care Community Psychiatric Specialist:
- Health Care Coordination: Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate psychiatric and medical needs of consumers. Maintain medical records and develop individualized health treatment plans.
- Service Coordination: Provide comprehensive case management and develop treatment plans tailored to consumer needs.
- Team Collaboration: Participate in team meetings, coordinate medical appointments, and administer medications.
- Documentation: Complete service documentation, medication administration records, and maintain consumer records.
- Consultation and Training: Provide consultation services to community agencies, participate in team meetings, and conduct education and training sessions for consumers and staff.
Qualifications for the RN: Acute Care Community Psychiatric Specialist:
- Education: BSN required.
- Experience: 2 years’ experience in the mental health field preferred (Includes internships and/or practicum).
- Licensure: Pennsylvania License.
