Job Overview - RN: Psych:
We are seeking a qualified candidate for the role of Psychiatric Nurse. This position involves significant fieldwork. The role demands a dedicated professional capable of providing community-based supports in compliance with service contracts and procedures.
Compensation: $52 per hour / Part-time
Location: Philadelphia, PA
Responsibilities as the RN: Psych:
- Community Interaction: Coordinate the behavioral and physical health care needs of service participants directly in the community.
- Medical Monitoring: Monitor participants’ medication adherence and provide psychiatric nursing services in line with physician orders and standard practices.
- Health Assessments: Perform comprehensive health and biopsychosocial assessments for each participant.
- Consultation and Coordination: Work with team members, community agencies, and families to ensure seamless coordination in the treatment process.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of medical history and ongoing medical treatments, ensuring timely submission of service documentation.
Qualifications RN: Psych:
- License: Board Certified Licensed Registered Nurse in the State of Pennsylvania.
- Previous experience in community mental health services.
- Deep understanding of psychiatric, clinical, and psychosocial rehabilitation practices.
- Excellent communication, organization, and analytical skills are essential.
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
