Job Overview - Registered Nurse (RN): OB & Women's Health:
We're seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse specializing in OB & Women's Health to join our clients growing healthcare team. This role requires a strong background in women’s health, obstetrics, and pre and postpartum care.
Location: New York, NY
Compensation: $50-$52/hour
Schedule: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday (rotating weekends)
Responsibilities as the Registered Nurse (OB & Women's Health):
Patient Care: Monitor and report patient conditions, prepare for exams and treatments, and manage patient care.
Coordination: Work with healthcare teams to develop and evaluate care plans.
Health Services Management: Manage inventory and provide health care services, including immunizations.
Documentation: Assess health needs, record complaints, perform tests, and administer treatments.
Education and Advocacy: Educate on health conditions and disease prevention, and develop health programs.
Infection Control: Comply with infection control protocols and maintain licensure.
Performance Improvement: Support performance improvement activities and assist with additional duties as needed.
Qualifications for the Registered Nurse (OB & Women's Health):
Licensure: Current New York State Registered Nursing License (BS preferred).
Experience: Minimum of 1 year in Women’s Health, OB, and/or pre and postpartum care.
Certifications: Infection Control, BLS, and CPR Certifications.
Language Skills: Bilingual in Spanish preferred.
Skills: Strong organizational, communication, and team-working skills.
