Job Overview - Registered Nurse - Brooklyn:
We're seeking experienced and dedicated Registered Nurses to join their team in empowering individuals with developmental disabilities. Candidates must hold a BSN and have a passion for community-based health services.
Location: Brooklyn, NY Schedule: Flexible schedule Compensation: $55 - $63/hr
Responsibilities as the Registered Nurse - Brooklyn:
Coordinate healthcare services as a member of an interdisciplinary team.
Arrange medical services and referrals as necessary.
Follow up on medical issues with persons served.
Provide staff training in various healthcare-related areas.
Control communicable diseases and infections.
Participate in team meetings and reviews.
Provide first aid and emergency care.
Maintain medical documentation and administer medications.
Supervise LPNs and junior RNs.
Qualifications for the Registered Nurse - Brooklyn:
Must hold a BSN degree.
Preferably with at least one year of RN experience in community-based health services for individuals with developmental disabilities.
Valid NY State Driver preferred
Current RN license and registration in the State of New York.
CPR Certification.
Proficiency in English with excellent oral and written communication skills.
Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
