Job Overview - Registered Nurse Pediatrics:
Seeking an experienced Pediatric RN for an outpatient clinic in the Bronx, NY. This position offers consistent daytime hours with a competitive hourly rate and requires a commitment to providing exceptional patient care.
Location: Bronx, NY. Compensation: $50-$55/hr Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM-4:30 PM or 9:00 AM-5:00 PM, with a requirement to work one Saturday per month on a rotational basis.
Responsibilities as a Registered Nurse Pediatrics:
Provide high-quality patient care, ensuring safety and integrating the patient’s cultural background into care.
Perform clinical and administrative functions, including patient screenings, triage, and implementing various health interventions.
Utilize the nursing process for direct patient care and assist patients through the healthcare system as an advocate and navigator.
Prescribe, delegate, and coordinate all care for assigned patients.
Supervise care provided by LPNs and medical/office assistants as applicable.
Support patients in self-management of diseases and behavioral modifications.
Coordinate patient care continuity with external healthcare organizations and facilities.
Communicate effectively within a care team and ensure awareness of a patient’s care plan.
Participate in data collection and reporting for health outcomes and program evaluation.
Assist in prior authorizations for clinical and pharmacy orders.
Function as a key member of an interdisciplinary healthcare team.
Qualifications of the Registered Nurse Pediatrics:
License: Current NY State RN License.
Certification: BLS certification.
Experience: At least 1 year of direct patient care in an acute setting. Phlebotomy experience is required.
