Job Description
Job Overview - Psychiatrist:
A cooccurring disorder facility in Philadelphia is seeking a full-time, on-site Psychiatrist to deliver quality substance abuse and psychiatric care to adult patients. The successful candidate will work closely with the treatment team to provide comprehensive psychiatric services, including evaluations and medication management.
Location: Philadelphia, PA
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Compensation: $275,000 - $310,000, depending on experience
Responsibilities for the Psychiatrist:
- Supervise and support the Medical Director.
- Lead the clinical team in developing and executing treatment plans.
- Ensure compliance with corporate policies and clinical standards.
- Participate in administrative and peer review activities.
- Supervise and evaluate psychiatric treatment for patients.
- Engage in community outreach to promote the facility’s services.
- Maintain clinical records to established standards.
Qualifications for the Psychiatrist:
- M.D. or D.O. from an accredited medical school or equivalent international qualification with ECFMG certification.
- Valid and current PA medical license for psychiatry.
- Board certified or eligible in psychiatry.
- Valid DEA certificate and enrollment in good standing with the PA Medical Assistance Program.
