Job Overview – Program Supervisor (Family Support):
Join our client as a Program Supervisor in Bronx, NY. In this role, you will lead a team of case planners to deliver high-quality family support services using Solution-Based Casework (SBC) principles. You will oversee program operations, ensure compliance with agency and regulatory standards, and collaborate with community partners to achieve positive outcomes for families.
Compensation: $34/hour
Location: Bronx, NY
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Responsibilities as the Program Supervisor (Family Support):
Leadership: Represent the program in meetings and build relationships with community agencies and ACS.
Case Supervision: Guide case planners in assessments, Family Agreements, and parent coaching.
Compliance: Ensure timely and accurate completion of reports, records, and progress notes.
Staff Development: Provide weekly supervision, coaching, and training in SBC methods and clinical practices.
Administrative Oversight: Manage administrative tasks and maintain high standards for case requirements.
Crisis Response: Handle challenging cases and provide support during client emergencies as needed.
Qualifications for the Program Supervisor (Family Support):
Education: Master of Social Work (MSW) degree required.
Experience:Â Minimum of 3 years of postgraduate experience, including 1 year of supervisory experience in NYC child welfare.
Certifications: NYS Certified Social Worker certification is required, along with Solution-Based Casework (SBC) certification to be obtained within 9-12 months of hire.
Skills: Strong leadership, organizational, and communication abilities, with a capacity to remain calm under stressful situations.
Technical Proficiency: Proficient in using databases such as Connections and PROMIS for documentation and reporting.
Preferred: Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus.
