Job Overview - Program Director, Scatter Site Housing Programs
Are you a dynamic leader with a passion for making a difference in the lives of those living with HIV/AIDS? Join our team as a Program Director in Bronx, NY, where you'll oversee Scatter Site Housing Programs, ensuring high-quality services, compliance, and program enhancements.
Location: Bronx, NY
Compensation: $84,000 - $92,000/year
Schedule: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday
Responsibilities of the Program Director Include:
Program Management: Oversee daily operations, ensuring clients receive necessary services and maintaining program compliance and quality improvement.
Staff Management: Manage recruitment, retention, and training of staff. Supervise Assistant Program Directors and coordinate staff training on HIV/AIDS, mental illness, and substance abuse.
Compliance and Reporting: Prepare and address correspondence and deficiencies from audits. Ensure timely completion of progress reports, client satisfaction surveys, and program goals.
Lease and Occupancy Management: Oversee lease renewals and maintain occupancy rates at 95%.
Service Coordination: Coordinate HIV/AIDS services with community services to close service gaps. Provide emergency interventions as needed.
Strategic Development: Develop and implement new scatter site units in high-need areas. Conduct staff trainings and workshops.
Qualifications of the Program Director Include:
5-7 years of administrative experience in Scatter Site Housing Programs.
Valid NYS LCSW-R, LCSW or LMSW licensure required.
Direct service experience with HIV/AIDS, substance abuse, and mental illness.
Extensive knowledge of HIV/AIDS program guidelines and regulations.
Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
Bilingual in Spanish preferred; advanced HIV/AIDS training a plus.
