Job Overview - Program Director (LMSW):
Our client in New York, NY, is seeking a Program Director (LMSW) to oversee the Safe Options Support (SOS) teams. This role involves managing outreach, housing placements, and collaboration with city agencies for street homeless populations.
Compensation: $87,000 - $95,000/year
Location: New York, NY
Schedule: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday
Responsibilities as the Program Director (LMSW):
Program Oversight: Manage all program components for SOS teams, including outreach and housing placement activities across multiple locations.
Supervision: Oversee and support Assistant Program Directors in their roles.
Outreach Strategies: Develop and implement outreach strategies to identify and support street homeless individuals, particularly around transit hubs.
Service Delivery: Ensure high-quality service delivery by supporting best practices, crisis intervention, and collaboration with psychiatric/street medicine teams.
Performance: Utilize management tools and data to ensure program outcome measures and performance targets are achieved.
Budget Management: Oversee and manage the program’s budget effectively.
Qualifications for the Program Director (LMSW):
Licensure: NYS Licensed Masters Social Worker (LMSW) required.
Experience: 5+ years supervisory experience, preferably in 24/7 programs and with homeless populations.
Skills: Strong understanding of service delivery concepts, crisis intervention, and stakeholder communication.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Language:Â Bilingual in Spanish/English preferred!
Other: Valid NY, NJ, or CT driver’s license preferred.
