Job Description
Job Overview - Practice Manager:
Our client is seeking an experienced Practice Manager to oversee the operations of their expanding medical office. As the Practice Manager, you'll ensure efficient office workflows, manage staff, handle budgets, and maintain regulatory compliance.
Location: Brooklyn, NY
Compensation: $65,000 - $80,000/year
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Responsibilities as the Practice Manager:
- Relationship Management: Serve as the primary contact for staff, patients, clients, and other parties, maintaining positive relationships with clients, vendors, and patients.
- Staff and Operational Management: Oversee hiring, staff development, and performance in collaboration with HR, ensuring operational efficiency, policy compliance, and effective multitasking.
- Performance Improvement: Identify and solve problems independently, implement processes to improve performance and customer satisfaction, and provide regular reports on productivity and service.
- Administrative and Project Duties: Handle scheduling, onboarding, clerical duties, project management, and coordination with other site managers.
- Risk and Growth Management: Identify risks and growth opportunities, consulting with Medical, Legal, or Compliance departments as needed.
Qualifications for the Practice Manager:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Management/Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: 5+ years in a related position with knowledge of NY Workers Compensation Policies, No Fault, and Liens.
- Skills: Strong communication, interpersonal, leadership, organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.
- Language: Bilingual in Spanish and English is a plus.
