Job Overview – Podiatrist:
Advance your career as a Podiatrist with our client in New York, NY, specializing in foot, ankle, and lower extremity care. In this role, you will diagnose and treat a range of conditions, perform medical and surgical procedures, and collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to deliver high-quality patient care. This position is ideal for a podiatrist experienced in work-related and motor vehicle injuries, with expertise in No-Fault and Workers’ Compensation regulations.

Compensation: $200,000/year
Location: New York, NY
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM


Responsibilities as the Podiatrist:
  • Patient Assessment & Diagnosis: Evaluate lower extremity conditions, including bones, joints, ligaments, and soft tissues.
  • Medical & Surgical Procedures: Perform non-invasive and surgical treatments to restore function and mobility.
  • Treatment Planning & Medication Management: Develop care plans based on medical history, imaging, and test results while prescribing medications as needed.
  • Patient Education & Communication: Explain diagnoses, treatment options, and post-care instructions to ensure informed decision-making.
  • Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Work with physicians, specialists, and healthcare teams to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
  • Compliance & Staff Oversight: Maintain accurate records, ensure regulatory compliance, and supervise Medical Assistants and Physician Assistants.
Qualifications for the Podiatrist:
  • Education: Medical Degree (MD/DO) from an accredited institution.
  • Licensure: Active New York Medical License required.
  • Board Certification: Board-Eligible or Board-Certified in Podiatric Medicine.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of clinical experience as a Podiatrist, with preference for experience in occupational and motor vehicle-related injuries.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with No-Fault and Workers’ Compensation laws and regulations.
  • Technical Proficiency: Experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR) and medical documentation.
  • Mobility: Willingness to travel within New York City to multiple practice locations as needed.
